Markus Huber is a computer security and privacy researcher from Austria. He graduated from the Vienna PhD school of informatics. His research focus include mobile security, privacy enhancing technologies, and online social networks. He is a Senior Researcher at SBA Research (an industrial research center for IT-Security founded by the Vienna University of Technology, Graz University of Technology, and University of Vienna) and a lecturer at the University of Applied sciences in St. Pölten where he teaches classes on UNIX hardening, software engineering and privacy enhancing technologies. In 2014 he was part of the Austrian team analyzing the the impact of the heartbleed bug. He presents at academic and industry conferences.
