Michael Ionita was the CEO and Co-Founder of RealLifeConnect Ltd, a social media solutions company for events. Prior to founding his startup he worked as product/project manager and developer at several agencies. Michael studied Media Informatics at Vienna University of Technology and has the gift of combining technical and business aspects into one person. He sold his company in 2014; he is a consultant and trainer for other startups today. "My journey started in the middle of my studies when I started developing for agencies working as a freelancer. Soon I discovered that I want to make a difference and use my creativity where people listen and started to work at the Die Socialisten. Driven by the idea of bringing social media into the event, conference and trade-show space my colleague and I gave birth to our startup "RealLifeConnect". Fascinated by the possibilities of NFC and RFID we build our social delivery platform knowing that NFC will take over the handset market. I was the CEO of this wonderful company (our baby) and had the privilege to working with the best people in their space forming our dream team I had wished for since we founded. Now that RealLifeConnect is sold to dwinQ.com, I consult companies, help startups with their business planning and at my sales and social media technology seminars I’m given the chance to pass my knowledge to others.
